I added a red tiger lotus to my tank in attempt to get a red plant to thrive in my low tech planted tank. It grew like wildfire and I was very happy with it until one day I noticed the bulb broke off. The bulb sat at the bottom of the tank for a few weeks, rolling around, without any sign of life. A few days ago I saw some green roots coming out of it. It was hard to see as it wedged itself behind my driftwood. I came down this morning to find it floating with brand new leaves!
