Biotope

Here is a back issue of the Winter 2007 Biotope that I scanned on my office computer so that all members and future members can see the quality of the articles.

Hopefully this issue can be used as a selling piece at the convention if we can get a laptop to show future members. An action packed issue...not to be bias or anything, but there are articles from Andrew(Scales), Pat, John, Bob Bock, Michael, Francine, Paul, and Ted Judy. This is the BioTope where the great Ad Konings came to visit us and make his presentation on," Feeding Behaviors of Some Malawi Cichlids." Simply Awesome!

Furthermore, this is also a plus for all our new members that surf our Forum and never had the chance to see the CCA BioTope. Enjoy Guys and Gals! Have fun at the Convention. The Picture on the cover was taken by our very own Bobby Phillips (phishphorphun).

That's pretty impressive work on your part Richard. Nice job.

Perhaps we can have the Biotope included in the Members area of the site on a regular basis. Wait a minute, I think I remember that idea has been discussed before. Maybe it will happen. :cool0036:

You can make time while you start the comeback for the Red Empress.....between workout sessions and long nights in the gym I am sure he will deliver a KO at Aquafest next year. :FIREdevil: ......on a brighter note I dont think your advertisement needs much work.....people definitely know who that fish owns..... :beamup: For those of you who havent seen Richards Red Empress on his specially made shirt it was a walking billboard at the Catfish Convention this weekend. I do believe he was knocked from the top spot by one of our own members though so first place at least stayed in the family.....

A little sad I see, it's OK maybe next week VT will finally win.


Yea, I was a little upset about not placing 1st and maybe it had to do with my Empress's eye, which was slightly cloudy due to him banging it in my bucket that morning. I know the Red Cap that took Best in show looked Outstanding and I gave Larry Credit, but the color and quality of my Red Empress to me was unmatched. He is a Super Red Empress with an unbelievable red color that is stunning.

It just wasn't meant to be. So I look forward to next year and this time I will be better prepared.

Padded buckets anyone? White towel? Yeah, Tech offense was awful.....defense did its job but at least the Skins eaked out a win....why do all the games this year for both my teams have to come down to the last minute.....I could stand a nice blowout or two.....
