I'd go to a landscaping/stone paver store (or a local park) before buying rock from a LFS. Most landscaping places sell by the ton, so a handful of rocks is pennies. Irwin Stone is a good one to try.
Pristine Aquariums has a good selection of malaysian driftwood. They charge by the pound, IIRC it's like $4.75/pound, not a ton of rocks, but like Jon said, you're better of getting rocks at a landscape/nursery shop.
Irwin Stone (landscaping supply) is better than LFS for more standard kinds of "rock." House of Tropicals has (at least in the past) had some nice coral/holey rock/etc.
Finding Holey Rock that is nice is pricey and a challenge fwiw.
Pristine does have a pretty good selection of driftwood and some stone. I just go down the Four Mile Run with a backpack and find some cool rocks in the stream. I boil the hell out of them of course.
