Guys what was the fish that Chuck mentioned that is like a pike but stays smaller. Kind of looks like it hops around. Not much color ... I know great description lol...

wondering if they would go well with hypansistrus in a 20 or 30 gallon? He said they run 30+ dollars ???

My next dream species?? Hmmmm

Usually pretty much whatever I don't have, or haven't had, generally not a particularly large fish.

Total dream fish would be a P14 ray.

But for cichlid?? Guess I've just been too lucky, and have had most of them that I really wanted.

But what fish I most want to spawn naturally?? EASY!!!

Synodontis granulosus!!!

but seeings how you are posting in the New World forum...

I'll go with the Apisto diplotaenia. Have had them, love them, didn't get to spawn them.

I don't know of anyone (recently) who's bred them.

Mine got ready a few times...but that's when the male killed all of the others.

They'll lull you into a sense of complacency. Everything looks pretty nice and peaceful for months...then one day a shredded female.
