Instead of busting the guys chops, how about first finding out if there is a reason why the tanks go for a higher price? May be that he is using better materials, or manufacturing process than others? Also remember that materials prices go way down when you are buying in volume.... glasscages does large volumes of sales... they probably also get a sweetheart deal on their materials.

Bottom line, you don't like the prices, you don't have to buy... but there is no need to be rude.

Well outside of most on this site I do keep large species and have the ability to get a tank like this. I would love to support a smaller vendor. But I call it as I see it. Over priced is what it is. I have priced acrylic my self I know it's not cheap stuff. That's why acrylic tanks cost dang near double glass. But if your prepared to provide pricing publicly be prepared to be criticized publicly. It's his business I can't tell him how to run it but as a potential customer I can tell him I think the pricing is out of line... outside of tai and myself I don't think anyone else responding here would ever be in the market for a tank like this.

Probably not the 450 but for the 240, there are some in the market as well that also have the space..just probably looking for a good deal.. In the long run , a 450+ would be an awesome man cave addition.

Here's how I see it, this guy always post over priced items on here, sometimes they don't build their own tanks to sell they also buy used second hand tanks then polish then up a little and try to sell them for way more than they bought them for ( that was the first red flag for me) because we've seen the original ads on Craigslist for these tanks. He's not even a vendor on here, heck he's not even a due paying member.... If you've got the brass to advertised in a public forum you should be ready to explain why your tanks cost twice as much as others around and build value in your services. Not of that has been done, what's so special about this special sale?
