A Few Of My Favorites

Well, I think you all, who spend some time on this forum, will find out I like to hang out on the "Photo Gallery" pages.

So far I have shared other members fish photos. Here are a few of my fish I enjoy shooting.

My Aulonocara Lwanda is a rescue fish from the Aquarium Center. I am hoping that he may become "show worthy" soon.

I have two Sciaenochromis Fryeri that have been the main subjects of my photography efforts for the last couple years.

I also have a pretty nice Otopharynx Lithobates "Zimbawe Rocks" coloring up well that I like.

Bobby,

You have some beautiful looking fish and your pictures are great as always. Thank you for sharing them.

Why thank you folks.

I think the "bore" part comes into play when there is nobody else posting their pix. I would like to see sombebody else beside me posting photos here. :(

But, if no one else chips in...I'll pick up the slack for everybody.

I must tell you that this feels too weird posting pictures on a forum. People steal photos and I hate that with a passion. It's happened to me before. Not that I think my photos are that great, mind you. But what's mine is mine. <_< Maybe this forum should be in the Members section. I'd be more inclined to participate...and perhaps do more macro work. ;)

The trend these days on forums is to force someone to register in order to see the pictures. Otherwise, I might be forced to do stuff like this:

WOW!!! Francine, you do wonderful work. I can see why you would be concerned about image thievery.

Maybe a seperate forum, "Members Photo Gallery" in the members only area make's some sense and create peace of mind for you.

The second and third shots are right-on. The first one is far from shabby, but you know how more enjoyable a mood shot with background and relative surroundings work.

I think I'll be withdrawing my talk and presentation due to an inferiority complex. :(

Oh, Bobby please! I will be working on shooting like you!

The first is a serious crop. But I love pikes and couldn't delete it.

I'm looking forward to your talk because I like your style. I aspire to learn your techniques. You are an excellent teacher. Perhaps we could work on having a CCA photography workshop at a member's home. Not on a meeting day, of course. Another Saturday or a Sunday. We could invite any interested parties and ask for donations to support the host and the club. Food and beer and photography...which pretty much don't go together really.
