venustus

Is there something wrong with my male venutus? He stays manly behind some rocks on the sand bed. Also his fin looks like it has something wrong with it? He is eating. Is there something wrong or am I paranoid.

I have three Nimbochromis venustus in my 180 gallon tank - two males and one female. I've raised the large male from about 1.5" for about 6 years. He sports a lot of color all the time, but despite his age, is only about 8" long. I believe that this is because he was a bit stunted early on...
