I noticed a small female holding last night while I was working on the tank. When I went to strip her, she spit nine perfect little fry. I can't seem to upload photos this morning but will try again later.

I've fallen in love with my wild caught group of Tropheops, but being that they are so rare I am having trouble finding reliable sources for new groups. Anyone in the club breed them or keep them? Just trying to get an idea if anyone else is keeping them or knows a reliable place to buy them...

I'm a little behind on reporting this spawn.....I stripped two Pseudotropheus cyneusmarginatus females on Jan 21st.

I got the parents a few months ago from one of our auctions, and I'm really digging these fish! Males are a lovely striped blue, with females taking on a yellowish tint. This is the first batch I've noticed....the adults aren't yet full size so it was a small batch, with only eight fry!
