What media do you use for AquaClear filters and how do you set it up? The standard instruction for inserting media in an AquaClear filter is to: A) insert foam B) insert carbon pack C) insert ammonia remover pack or Bio-Max. How do you set up your media in the AquaClear filters?

I bought 2 used Aquaclear 110's. They haven't been used in over a year. How should I sanitize the sponge block and ceramic rings?

I've got an FX5 coming from ebay to set up on my 180G :)! I just wanted to poll those who have them to see what you use for media in the filter. I have heard that Seachem pond matrix is a good option for bio, but I have never used it. Let me know what you guys are using. Jon
