So venting aside, it looks like you can usually sex these guys from dorsal fins (black blotch for female) my question is do these guys have to be a certain size to do this? I have a group of 5 that are between about 3-4". My trimacs seemed easier to sex at a smaller size :/

Okay i have a trio of lyonsi cichlids they are like 5" each and they are in a 125 gallon tank. I am wanting to know is there a certian temp it need to be at for them to start breeding do they need a certian food or can you give me any info on them thank you
