do you mean today tomorrow or tomorrow tomorrow, well today isn't going to work. Also unless you want all the living things too you will need to wait until I find homes for them first..... anyone want the fish/plants? they are free if you give them a good home. plants include melon sword...

    moving sale, 75 gallon

thanks. It might be a few years though. The kids are young and my 4yo likes to play jump rope when I try to change the water and my toddler seems to think he can swim. They also both want to pet the fish and I have to remind them often that fish don't like to be yelled at. So it's probably best...

    moving sale, 75 gallon

Sorry, currently we are on Fort Meade. My husband has a truck though so we can go to you if you are close (Laurel, Columbia, etc). I have no idea how much. I have lost track of how much scratched 75s are going for. And it kinda makes me sad to think about giving it up so I have put off finding...

    moving sale, 75 gallon

We are moving to a different state. I can not take the fish and don't really want to take any of the fish equipment so it all needs to go. I have a 75 gal tank, it has some scratches on the glass but it comes with one of those neat 3d backgrounds that looks like tree roots. The stand got some...

How do you change your water?

python for my main (75gal) tank. for my small tank (15) I have a turkey baster to suck up anything from the bottom and then I squirt it into a gallon jug that I have cut the top off of but kept the handle. then I scoop more water out with the jug and dump it on my plants and use the jug to get...

    ISO- old/worn/torn CCA shirt

I would like to get a CCA shirt that maybe has a hole or a stain in in, jut not near the logo. I want to make something but I just can't bring myself to cut up a brand new shirt. I need one with the big logo in the middle, not the little pocket logo. If you have one you are willing to part with...

Dog or Cat or just YUK?

does anyone watch F-word? it is Chef Gordan Ramseys show on BBC. He has a restraunt called F-word and he has 'passionate amateures" instead of pro chefs in the kitchen. During the show though he will go and do other stuff including showing his kids (he has four) where food comes from. He said a...

    Whats your best short joke?

From Demitri Martin: "About a month ago I got a cactus, and a week later it died. And I got really depressed because I realised I am less nurturing than a desert" "I got some new pajamas with pockets in them. Which is great, because before that I used to have to hold stuff when I slept."...

Dog or Cat or just YUK?

I love polls, they are fun. :P :) My husband lived in Korea for a while. He said that they have a special breed of dogs raised for food (breed, not species). Like how we have dairy cows and beef cows, egg chickens meat chickens pet chickens, etc. I think he said they were white.

    breeding

Here is a great article about simulating dry/rainy seasons in the tank. It is also specific for corys, but it might work for other fish as well. http://www.corydoras.net/rainyseason.aspx Of course for easier fish not all conditions need to be met. for some just water and food is enough

    Do you test your water?

I test when I see spawning so I know what I did right  I test new tanks too, but like above I use 'old' gravel etc so it's not really a problem. Actually I have never even seen the 'ammonia spike' a new tank is suppost to get. But with my first tank years and years ago I didnt know about...

I have a prius. So gas is not the problem for me ;) but I do have two small kids and I don't think they would like the talks much (especilly the older one) and I don't think I could get a room. :( I would love to see the talk about the convicts though.....

    Low maintenance plant?

my husband doesn't want a co2 tank with the kids (he thinks it will shoot someone in the head or something  ) so I have med/high light and no added co2. I do have algae, but my pleco loves the stuff (Chaetostoma sp?) and it's not bad with her help. I have various swords including kliner...

I have some cardinals. I kinda like them, but recently I have been thinking of puting them in the auction and getting something that schools tighter. the bloodfins sound nice... we'll see.... I like zebra's too. I used to have a small school of them many years ago :)
