Let me add my thanks. Tony and Maria were terrific hosting this great event. They are at the top of my list.
I had a great time. If I detracted from yours, sorry, I do drink a bit and tend to ramble. If I added to it, I can assure you that you added to my enjoyment. What a great group and, if I can, I am proud to call you all friend.
We have now had three CCA cook outs and I can, without a doubt, tell you which was the best ---- NEXT YEAR'S!

By the end of the night, there was no pork to take home. 35 pounds of meat smoked for about 13 hours + a hungry group of CCA members = full CCA members. I don't think there were many vegetarians there because there were 4 veggie trays leftover.
The cookout was a blast. Awesome pics Franny and Pat. I was surprised to see pics of myself without red eyes. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and I don't think the last people left until almost 11pm. Definitely looking forward to next years.
Thanks again Tony and Maria. You guys are awesome!

Ya know, I think at one point there were like 7 coolers there.
1 was food.
the others were like these.
Then there was that BIG cooler that held like 5 times this much.
Hmm there was a little drink there. LOL
(taken with cell phone)(not too bad for a cell)
It was like a production line.
These were the ones that were keeping cool and waiting to go to the large coolers with ice if needed.
They were the back-ups.
Did not get the picture of the back-ups to the back-ups.

Hey guys.
Thanks a ton for the excellent turnout... I had no idea we had 65(!) members/family show up. That is a feat that few other clubs can boast. Yeah... we rock.
The pics came out awesome.. thanks Pat, Phil and Frannie for taken 'em and posting them up. I'm especially digging the couple of me pulling a Fred Flintstone with that pork bone, lol.
My only real regret was not being able to spend more time talking to some of you guys. No offense if I didn't get a chance; was just doing my "one-legged man in an ***-kicking contest" impersonation, running around giving tank tours and stuff.
Special thanks of course to my wife, Maria, who is just plain awesome... not only for just letting us do this, but helping me get the house ready and for being so enthusiastic about the whole event.
Also to Mike O'Shea, who came over at 1:00AM on Friday night to help cook and also straighten up the house and fish room. Definitely above and beyond the call of the club and not the first crazy project he's help me with that he didn't need to.
Also thanks to Pat, Tracey, Richard and Matt for coordinating and getting this thing off the ground. Big props for another successfully planned event.
Last, thanks to Chris for being grill man and Scott, Marge and Jim for helping me pull my pork.
Yeah, despite the last of the crew leaving close to 11 (I think), we've got a wee bit of beer left over.....
