Senegals Bichir with Red Jewel Ciclids.

I have always wanted a bichir. Would a senegalus bichir do well with 5 jewel cichlids in a 55 gallon. Two of the larger Jewel cichlids are aggressive. Could they co-habitate if everybody is the same size? Will the Bichir eat the jewels when he is large enough?

I have one in with mine and they aer fine until he gets bigger then they are lunch.
