You guys are going to be jealous of my a. kandeenses!

Got my shipment from Dykemyster today -- 3 M and 5 F a. kandeense aka blue orchid peacock. Wow! What a group! They are apparently so mild-mannered that I can have 3 males even though my tank is only 45 gallon. Woo hoo! I'm so thrilled to have peacocks again and I expect to have babies at some point to share with you all! Stay tuned and wish me luck!

Those are some of the nicest peacocks I have ever seen... still colored up in the bag after being shipped. Can't wait to see them after they get acclimated.

Congratz Holly! They are one of my personal favorites.:) Welcome to the club of Blue Orchids here at the CCA. LOL!

OHMIGOD! I think one of the females is holding already! They've only been in the tank for 10 hours.

They seem to enjoy swimming through the plants. For some reason, though, all eight of them are most comfortable in one area of the tank, in and around a leafy java fern on the far right. They will occasionally swim across the tank, but then right back to that area -- all eight of them. It's so cool that the males are not chasing each other. And all three of them are fully colored up! :)
