Well, dad's setting up the new filter system. And of COURSE didn't have all the parts he needed. So he went to Lowes to get the PVC and other fixtures. They seem to have a slightly bigger selection then Home Depot.
So he calls to get the size on one thing. And I got to listen to him for the next five minutes, as he looked through a box labeled 1" fittings for a fitting that actually WAS 1".
It often seems like the best way to find the proper size is to look at the neighboring bins.......
And Home Depot (which is only a few minutes farther then Lowes) is even worst.
He sais: "I want to find and do away with every customer who puts the fittings back into the wrong bins!!!!!"
Basically, it took him an hour and a half to find two dozen fittings, all of whose bins he found withing minutes.
