I had the opportunity of a lifetime to see the great Real Madrid with all of it's world class players at Fed Ex Field play against DC United.
I just finished watching the game and Real Madrid won 3-0 and kicked DC United in the butt real good. Thanx to Frank Cowherd and his wife, Lucy and I and got a chance to see the great Real Madrid and it's High Powered offense. We had some great seats and watched an incredible game of soccer. Thank you Frank for setting it all up, we had a ball.
The heat was unbearable,but it was worth it and hopefully they come back again. I wish DC United would of played a little better.
It was an International exhibition game so maybe Real Madrid didn't really play there best players for long. For example, I did get a chance to see the great Kaka from Brazil and Cristiano Renaldo Portugal play , which was Awesome. The place was packed 72 thousand people were there and it was quite an experience.
I got a great deal on beer too! Can you believe a regular beer was going for 8 big ones! NO FRE akin way Dude! I got a Super Sized 10inch Can of Modelo beer for 9 dollars and that sucker lasted one for each half.
Water was 5 dollars a pop and let me tell you that it was so hot that one bottle was not enough and it got hot within 15 minutes.
Anyways, Soccer is a world sport and it was great to see it in a big stadium like Fed Ex. The wife loved is so that's all that matters.
Now, Redskins football is next and I can't wait.
