Poor water quality, got my water test back

So after my shrimps were dying when berried, no babies showing up, and eggs being dropped, I noticed my pH was getting really high during the night from it's typical 6.2 pH during the day.

This has been a newish problem the last couple of years. I used to keep shrimp before with no issues and my pH was also stable.

We have "poor" water quality. I think it might be ground water getting into the well.

We have lead (!!), copper and some other things wrong with it. Sigh. I think we also have pink slime, but I keep forgetting to do that test and need to get it done.

I'm going to try another whole house filter in addition to the type we already have. (Not reverse osmosis.) I'm being kind of vague here bc I don't know the specs off hand.

Hopefully that works! Poor shrimp! My fish are doing quite well despite that.
