Pool filter sand in NoVA?

I went to a couple of pool stores in Chantilly and Fairfax and both told me they do not carry any kind of pool filter sand.

Any idea where I can grab some?

I know it is not close, but I picked up a bag this past weekend from Flamingo Pool Supply in Frederick. They are open until 6 PM on Saturdays. 50 pound bag was $10.

I picked some up at Dominion Aquatics on Backlick Rd Springfield, they are open until 7pm. Call them before you head out there, they might be running low on it, 703 451 5905.

Wow I can't believe it that hard to find. There are 3 places within 5 miles of me that sell the stuff. I bought another 50lb bag today- $11
