Why don't you take the pot out of the tank, after they spawn on it, and incubate the eggs under an air stone, to see if they'll hatch?

I really enjoy these guys. They're from Congo and spawn every week or so: sometimes on the top of a pot, sometimes on a PVC tube, sometimes on the tank itself (first picture).

I need to get around to doing that - just haven't done an artificial hatch on them yet...

I'm hoping that one of the two pairs will get their act together and raise them on their own. Maybe some dithers will help.
