Here is a photo of a future killer. It is about 4" now and the teeth are starting to show.

I bought these fish from Jeff Rapps at Tangled Up In Cichlids as 1 1/2" juvies.
These fish get to be about 12". Right now i have about 50 fish that will grow to 12"+ as adults (no idea where I am going to keep them all)

Dang, that IS one wicked looking fish! I can't imagine him at 12" - especially with 50 more just like him!

Note to self ::be nice to Mike or you may find some of those in your bathtub:: :character0305:

You may not have to worry to long as they will eat each other eventually, huh? LOL! Bring to the mini auction. You could compete with the new owners to see who can grow the biggest fish.

They are not all the same type of fish. I generally buy 6 at a time when I get new fish. Some may eventually make it to the auctions. When agression starts, there are always fish that get "displaced" from the group. I will put them into their own tanks so that the fins can grow back LOL. Once healed I will either offer them up for sale or bring to a meeting.

Already have a pike (Xingu I) trying to regrow its fins. It may make the November meeting (unless someone trys to buy it before then) *hint*
