Holy smoke-- Do I!. I will even offer to DELIVER them to you. You pick a time and I will be there :)

(I'm in Herndon, but have some "mom helping" to do in 22033 Fairfax so you would be nearby).

On the downside, if there's much leftover food they'll multiply like locusts. Since they mostly stay out of sight through the day you probably won't notice their numbers increasing.

BUT it's kinda cool when the lights go out at night... you can sit and watch and it's like the sand is erupting! Then you'll start to see them come up to cruise around. Like an invasion LOL.

They do work well to keep the sand stirred up, especially if you have it deeper than a half inch or so, or have rocks/driftwood/plants/stuff that you don't move when you're siphoning or manually stirring up the sand.

Thanks for the info, sounds like just what I need to keep the sand stirred. :D
