Should work fine for them. Many years ago when I had 2 young pairs I used a couple of large plastic drinking cups for spawning caves. Nic's are unusual, their eggs aren't adhesive like most. The cups were slightly tilted, and it was easy to see the pile of eggs at the bottom. Excellent parents, even with their first spawns.

Thanks all. These fish are so lovey dubby it's almost sickening LOL. Always swimming, dancing, and rubbing together.

I dont care for flower pots and prefer a slightly more natural look.

The red pavers sand really looks good and a different look. It's large grained sand with some slightly larger pieces mixed in. Was VERY dirty though.

Beautiful Nics Bill cant wait til my group matures and (hopefully) pairs off

I have a group of 4. I have one I am 99% sure is a male and I suspect the next largest is male also. I am hoping the smallest is a female.
