Labeotropheus Trewavasae Holding

I have a Labeotropheus trewavasae that is holding and she is also eating. Is this common or has she eaten the eggs?

Sometimes they'll go after the food, maybe even eat a small bit, but if she's really eating then she's not holding anymore...
