Hardly... dovii, gramodes, beani, and many in the amphilophus group are more aggressive. Crenicichla (the larger ones especially) are also quite aggressive. As for the Jag family (parachromis), Red Tiger Motos are in my opinion, more aggressive than jags, though they do not seem to grow as quickly.

Add carpintis, mines a murderer that's had to be put in his own tank. Along the lines of RTM, La Ceiba yellow heads are more aggressive then jags.

I don't think so. They have a pretty good temperament, actually. I think, for their size, salvini are far meaner.
