ID my new fish please !

Hi im new to the forum just got some new fish I think it's a Hap the top dorsal fin has a yellow blaze across it.if anyone knows what this guy is I would love to know.hes still young only about 2 inches maybe smaller the color is an iridescent blue and green. He's a really cool fish comes over to the front of the tank and follows me around :)

I agree - absolutely gorgeous fish when they're at their best. Back in the day, when they were first available, it was nearly impossible to find females... I scoured the shipments from the LFS where I worked and found a couple that slipped through the cracks...set them up in a 55g of their own and bred them...

Not sure what else (other than the jake) you've got him stocked with but they tend to be pretty mild mannered and easily bullied by more aggressive Africans...

I've got 7 fish right now in a 55 gal all about 2 inches.

A Benga peacock
Taiwan reef Hap
Dragons Blood peacock
Eureka red jake
I think a lawanda.. Can't get a pic he's too fast.
Copadichromis azureus
And a Tropheus Ikola, from my old tang tank. Tragically they all pasted from a ph problem after I did a 75% water change ( Never Again !!)

I'm changing over to a Hap and peacock tank they seem to grow out faster I don't want to wait another 3 years for decent sized fish.
