Cichlid Fan

Hey everyone. My wife and I are just beginners in the realm of keeping cichlids and are very excited about it. We currently have 3 fantail goldfish is a 16g Biorb tank and they are thriving for now...and have just bought a 56g tank to house our cichlids. We are still cycling the new tank (on week 3 now) and hopefully soon will start to add our first set of fish..
I am still amazed at how huge the cichlid community is and it makes me feel that much more confident that I have many "friends" out there if I run into any problems..
Looking forward to getting involved and learning so much in the process....cheers to all and happy fishkeeping..
