In my all male tank I added a 1.5" male thick skin along with a Chewere, Fuelleborni, and afra cobue of similar size. Also already had a Johanni, Fuelleborni, and 2 peacocks all four are 3-5". I didn't know if he would last long with these aggressive fish. He's really mean though. He chases my new mbuna and nips at them constantly. He even will nip at my big mbuna and peacocks(of course they retaliate). It doesn't stop him though. Is he going to be a problem?

That doesnt help. Is it not strange that a 1.5" Victorian is bullying these fish? Also I thought it may stop once he gets put in his place a few more times by my dominate male. I've only had this fish a week.

I rearranged my tank about a week before adding the new group of fish. I left the rocks basically the same though, so they had the same territories. Was basically a substrate change and added a piece of driftwood and a couple plants.

I have one that was bought as a young juvy, in with some larger aulonocara, which are super peaceful natured fish as I have breed generations of this stock.. he is a bit of bully to the aulonocara and there are alot of fish for the tank, they all do fine and there are no chunks taken out of fins, both species have raised multiple fry in the tank

if you start seeing damage on other fish remove him, but if not they are a beautiful fish to keep and have a nice yet aggressive attitude
