FREE 17" RTxTSN Catfish

17 RTxTSN catfish...need gone asap!

He has never eaten live food.. only pellets, until 2 nights ago when he decided to eat a bichir.. even since then; he's been prowling my tank for the others, and I just can't deal with him doing this.

He's free to someone with the right size tank.

He's in a 125 right now, but will need something bigger soon.

He's only 6 months old, and I've had him since 2".

Well, there's no hard core proof he ate it, but the fish in the tank are:

1 female Jag
1 male midas
1 male red terror

2 palmas bichirs 12"+
3 senegal bichirs 8"+
1 ornate bichir 12"+

And the RTxTSN

Now, my 125 sits along a wall in my basement; it's completely covered, and a bichir would never survive the drop onto the concrete floor. I've searched within a 10 ft radius of my tank- I've searched all my other tanks (not that he would be in any other tank)- and I've not found him.

He was a little guy about 5", but not fat- My poor Zaire Green.. just got him a week ago. :angry:

I have to assume that my catfish ate him.. there is no other explanation.

So I want him gone before he gets fed to my cats! :angry3:

Ooooh.... so sorry to hear that! Wish I could take him, but that bloke would be troulbe in my 125!

Good luck... I'm sure someone will be interested. If not here, put a post up on MFK... if you haven't done so already. And then there's always craigslist!

I love him to death- and I do have a larger tank that I can put him in, but it's not even close to being ready as soon as need be, and so, I would just rather find him another home..

His name is Carlos.

I've seen black pacu the size of wheel covers someone dropped off at the lfs for $1 each. I was told that someone bought one and ate it, said it tasted like fish food. Maybe marinade the fillets in teriyaki sauce overnight first? :p

I GOTTA ASK ASK....SO HOW WOULD THEY KNOW WHAT FISH FOOD TASTES LIKE :eek: :D?
