As of yesterday (2/16/06) my second female Lab is holding. Huge mouthful, one of the eggs was almost ready to pop out of her mouth.
I am very happy because this a fish I picked up at PetSmart and could only make an educated guess as to the gender. I based it on coloration of the pectoral and anal fins as well as what I could see of her vents.
At any rate, as soon as the fry are released, I will make another post. Of course, I still haven't contacted anyone to verify my last release, so I need to do that. The good thing about this procrastination is that now you can readily see the difference in the fry.
