Females Holding

I have 2 female swallowtail peacocks that are pregnant. Will they be ok if I put them in the same tank by themselves to have the babies?

Putting them in a tank by themselves will help them from being picked on.
I do isolate my females when they are being beaten on.

Do you mean putting the 2 holding females in a single tank? If so id also like to know the answer to that.

One tank per holding female would be much better than two in one. They'll fight.

You could use a divider or put one in a breeder net.

Thanks I will wait until one is about to spit before taking her out of the larger tank and put her in a breeding net.

I noticed a white milky substance come out of her gills the other day looked like cloudy water. What could that be?
