Do I need to boil...?

I have a couple of new clay pots from Michaels... should I boil them before putting them in the tank? I've never used clay pots before, believe it or not... so I am not sure if boiling them will damage the pots or not. Thanks.

I have never boiled clay pots before adding them to tanks. I just take off the tags and wash them with hot water. Never had a negative response from any fish in my tanks.

You can wash them with hot water and a vinegar mix to quickly disinfect.

Just take the stickers off, give them a rinse and drop them in...
