? diameter tubing

I am looking to buy generic tubing to replace my Lees gravel tubing. It is the same diameter hosing as the Python, but I do not know what diameter this is. Last time I guessed the diameter and wasted $50. I am looking for the diameter and whether it is inner or outer. Thanks for your guidance.

I am 99% sure the hose diameter is 1/2". That is the diameter for the squeeze bulb that matches and i think that is the diameter of barb on the safety siphon.

Yeah that would be the inner diameter.

If you are buying from a hardware store what might work best is undoing of the ends from the tubing and bringing it in to match.

I have a small tube, medium tube and large tube systems, I usually just take the tube with me to HD to get the correct size. Just did this for the small and medium one, 20 feet of hose for each cost me 10$. The hosing is thin, cheap, but it works.
