I am trying to get my bi colors to start breeding. I had them in a 75 gal community tank then I see the male trying to mate with my eureka red so I broke them up 2 times. Now I put them in a 10 gallon hopefully they will start slapping uglys soon. Is the wise or should I use a bigger tank fro the process. 2 females ad a male in the 10 all three are about 2 1/2 inches and they are swimming away from each other.

I would say 10 would be on the small side. There isn't enough room to provide adequate hiding places for the females and room to run while being chased by the male. I have most of my peacock breeder groups in 30 long tanks. They may spawn in the tank, but I think the females will have a tough time avoiding the males aggression.
