Marya posted in the old thread, so I thought I would post in the new one!!!!!
I will try to have a small comic for it, if people are interested.
Dad has promised to do an article with me on emergency power systems, ie, generator vs inverter, vs batteries vs gas vs oil, automatic turn on vs manual switch, what to hook up, what your fish need at a minimum to survive, how to set it up, and so on and so forth (Francine, you know what that means!!!!! Remember, the more you get after him, the better!!!). This article will probably require a bit of research, so I hope there is interest..... We have had a LARGE number of power failures, and we have our own home system (that was VERY inexpensive) which we will be upgrading hopefully soon.
