It was on Science Channel, a show called Mutant Planet, episode called African Rift Lakes.
On Comcast in Montgomery county MD, it is on channels 110, 217, 872, check your local listings.
I know it is on at 5:00AM April 4th (tomorrow) so set your DVR or whatever it record it, I did not watch the whole thing but the part I saw was amazing.
