Many of you know I've recently started back into the hobby. I am looking to start a low tech planted tank. Kribs were some of my favourites for this set up. I wanted to know if any of you have them for sale.

    What to do with juvies?

There are a lot of apisto aficionados out there. You can always check other clubs, try the marketplace, or go to auction sites like ebay. What kind of apistos are they? I may be interested as well

    what background color...

Is best for a Peacock only tank? The colors of the fish are yellows and blues. I wanted to go with black but I feel like the blues won't be seen as much as the yellows. I tried a pearl white background on another and the yellows blend into the background. The fish also seemed to be way too light...

Thank you very much for your input. So, everything in one room is a bad idea, right? I will spread the tanks into different rooms.

    How does this work?

I have no problem with Buying in as long as it gives us the discounts that* we would see in Group Buys. It really is no different from just buying a fish. This contest would give us an incentive to take better care of said fish.

Question on supporting the weight of the tanks

I recently moved out of my parent's place and bought myself a small house. This house does not have a concrete basement like my parent's. I never had to worry about the weight of my tanks until now. I went into the crawlspace to see what room had the most support but everything seems to be...

    How does this work?

I am very interested in participating in a grow out contest but it is a shame that we don't have one going on. I would be happy to participate if we ever have something in the future. I would love to work with some lake Victoria CARES species. I'll have to get my hand on some.
