    They take years to reach sexual maturity and, while mine (purchased in 2020 and currently 6") appear to have "paired" I still couldn't tell you which are male or female though. If this pair is spawning they're a real find.

    Perfect companion for dwarf cichlids and absolutely gorgeous in a planted aquarium. These are a Cory hastatus mimics and will school with them. At least 15 fish. $50 for all.

    The California clubs where I spoke require a minimum bid of $5 per lot. Tables were full of good items and no one selling left empty handed. The club meetings were packed, too. Requiring a minimum bid meant that bidding always started at a number where the seller would get something for what...

    Dropping pH isn't the same as softening water. It's easier to lower the pH of soft water and using acid to lower it can work temporarily but doesn't remove mineral hardness from water and it tends to bounce back up.

    Yes! That's the only reason I have fry - I saw some adults in and figured I'd snag some fry and grow some out, but I didn't be anticipate high survival rates, so I have far more than the 6 I was going for.
