Sun Conure

It's been a tough year for my family, framed by a couple of tragic deaths. We haven't had any birds around the house in about 8 years (wow!), so I have been thinking of surprising the family with a sun conure, maybe. Anyone know of any local trusted sources? I am aware I can find them at some various local PetSmarts or Petcos from time to time, but am wondering about alternative sources. Just kicking the tires on this idea at the moment, but certainly a possibility. Thanks.
