D. compressiceps is not rare but rather common in just about every independent LFS that sells African in my area. I know House of Tropical always carries compressiceps, both the normal color and albino ones. I only keep peacocks, and large Haps aren't my cup except for D. compressiceps which is my perennial favorite because of its weird body shape. The only other big Hap I keep, rather rare, is Malawian Trout because of its uncommon body shape.
I have a 5-6" male I am considering moving. He lost his mate, so he's now odd man out in my breeding groups tank.
Coincidentally I have a group of blue neon females who lost their stud. I'd be happy to trade a male for a male if you have one.
