Is anyone interested in Otopharynx sp. auromarginatus mara point orange cap
I am thinking about bringing in three males at 4-4.75" If there is enough demand for this fish I would consider breeding it.
Below are photos of my wholesaler's retired breeders. His newer breeders have even better color. According to my supplier: "They do actually get bluer/light green on the side, with a beautiful orange cap on the head. The color fades on the sides as they age."
I am not sure but if you feed them Xtreme Cichlid Pee Wee, the color may be less likely to fade over time.
