Shell Dwellers keeping Secrets from Me

Apparently both my Multies and my Brevis Kavala enjoy keeping secrets from me.

My last post about my Multies was to announce their first spawn. Well, I lied, lol. The babies from that spaw are still very tiny but growing. I recently discovered a much larger baby, who I would place at a couple months older than my "first spawn". Darn Multies hiding babies from me...

Then one day I was performing random maintenance on the tank and I saw wierd "dirt" skimming the surface of the sand. To my surprise and excitement, they were babies!!

I wonder what my ornatipinnis are keeping from me...

I guess at that size the babies are easier to hide. Congrats on the spawns!

That happens a lot here too - most of the shell dwellers keep their fry hidden for so long, or they are so transparent against the sand you can't see them! Congrats! Jose I'd love to help you out

I just got a group of juvi Occies that came from one of the spawns from a group I gave to my friend! We'll see how they do for me this time around.

cool! how many and what size tank?

I got 9 Gold occies in a 50g breeder with a bunch of holey rock and shells.

That's a lot of space! We have our 6 black occies and 6 pearl occies in 15's
