Plumbing fitting needed... Washington/Maryland area

Ok.. so I have been trying to plumb this 180 acrylic. So far, I have the (5) bulkheads, strainers, and in-tank piping for returns and supply lines. Now I need the adapter to go from the threaded bulkhead/pipe to the hoses for my canisters. Is there any place that I can buy reef plumbing supplies that I can physically hold in my hand. I know the LFS typically poke you in the eye with prices, however at this point I need to be sure I have what i need. Lowes/Home depot doesn't have what I need, and although the website I dealt with was fine, it is another week until I get it, if it's right and then....

BTW- I will be at the meeting this weekend, so anything out that way might be a possibility too...

Thanks- marc and family

If you are passing through Reston, there is a place near here called Marine Scene that might have what you are looking for. Might want to call be dropping by.

any hardware store should have that (home depot, lowes etc) you just need threaded male or female to barb fitting. You may need to reduce depending on the size of your bulkhead fittings and the size of your tubing.

Yeah threaded to barb fittings, I found them at Lowe's. Home Depot doesn't have as good a selection and what they have tends to be brass which I wanted to avoid.

Just take a sample of your tubing with you and you will be able to find what you need.

What diameter tubing are you using for hoses?
