I tested the params in my 29g Planted and found that my API Master Test Kit's Liquid Nitrate Test indicated there was 0 ppm nitrates.
The tank is fairly heavily planted but not nearly enough to warrant absolutely no nitrates!

I followed the directions and smacked the Bottle #2 a couple of times and shook for a couple minutes. I retested the water and got a much more believable 10-20ppm (I have a hard time telling the difference between the colors).
I can try taking a photo tomorrow and uploading that but thought I'd at least spread the information.
