Diamond backs are really cool. I have had mine for over 13 years. He's probably a little stunted in growth from not knowing better when I first got him, but he's still going strong after all these years.

That is awesome last time I really looked into it a few months ago I couldnt find any breeders. everytime I found a website they were not up to date. I might start trying to hunt one down again soon.

Mine is "wild caught". Collected from an old girlfriend in Delaware who found it near her house. I have never seen them for sale anywhere, but have not looked very much. Maybe they are available at the reptile shows that come around every so often. Good luck finding one.

I especially like the baby albino (?) snappers. They're kewl.

Yeah, the baby snappers look so innocent at that size. Wait until they're over 100 pounds and can swallow small mammals. Those albinos look like aliens. Nice pictures

so is he breeding these turtles in the house? I think that would be awesome. Seems like it would be hard to setup the right habitat for them to breed.
