What is the maximum male to female ratio for a 29 gallon lamprologus multifasciatus tank?

Is this going to be a guess how many Multies are in the tank? A game like the jelly beans at Easter time? if you're not in a hurry, buy 6-8 Multies, add water and shells. Let nature do its thing and you will be overrun with Multies.

+1. There may be some out there who can chime in with more exact ratios for you, but I ended up getting two groups at an auction, pooling them into one tank....and then, well...."Multis Happen."

Multis like to be in a big group and will raise their fry communally, so I think it's less of a worry than with other types of fish.
