Follow-up to March meeting topic.

As you recall the Topic was - "In Search of the Wild Peruvian Gourami."

I put a pair out in a 100 gallon stock tank weekend before last. White lily is only plant cover. I noticed bubble nest underneath the pads within days. On Saturday I confirmed fry hanging near surface and one decidedly slimmer female. Yesterday checked again - must be a couple hundred fry.

Anyone interested in FI "wild Peruvian" gouramis? Francine - don't ask/offer!!

BTW: other stock tank has a pair of Gymnogeophagus sp "el Norte."

That's awesome, Mike. I'd really love to come by some time and check out the room again. Sounds like it's completely different from how it was in the fall.

When I was in HS I had some Paradise fish that were sick, so I put them in my Dad's stagnent Goldfish pond (no goldfish in it) this was in March in Maryland, I expected them to die from the cold...well come july the pond was full of fry and the parents were really nice looking. At the end of the summer I sold them to the LFS.
