Fish holding but what is she?

I bought this fish at a very small size and all I knew was her shape was similar to scianochromis freyeri as she grew I noticed more and more yellow appearing where blue should have appeared. My confirmed ahli female looks nothing like this fish. I can home today and she was mating with my male ahli. I almost thought this was a female mylochromis gracilis but never was sure. My questions are- does anyone recognize this fish? Its hard to tell from the pics but she has yellow on her scales behind the head and underside. Is it possible a S. Freyeri would mate with a different species when a female of the same species is present? Any help would be great.
