probably, as far as cichlids go, severums are probably the least aggresive.

Sorry, can't agree on this one. The big gold severum in my avatar is quite the bully. I had to move him into my 180 with large Central Americans due to his temperament. Severums are middle of the road aggression wise, in my experience. Some can be meek, some can be pushy. Most will eat plants and fish small enough to fit in their mouths.

+1 especially when breeding they can be quite territorial and aggressive, especially in a relatively small tank (like a 75g).

Also remember that sevs can get big - a foot isn't unheard of...although 8-10" is more typical.
