Hi All,

I recently got back in the hobby after purchasing a 10g tank for my little girl. The tank I had as a teenager was modest and I am excited that I can build a world of Cichlids with an adults resources.

Welcome! Most of the fish I keep are from Malawi. Have you considered what type of tank you want (haps/peacocks vs mbuna or single males vs breeding groups)?

Welcome back to the hobby Justin. Your story reminds me of how I was out of the hobby when I left for college over 10 years ago, then I bought a 2 1/2 gallon tank for my desk that opened it all back up for me again.

You are at the right place and I look forward to seeing how your daughters tank turns out.
