Crazy price on Copadichromis Midnight

I don't know of anyone who has them and I have been trying to track a group down. But obviously I want a strong dark strain.

So I find a seller on aquabid and shoot him an email. He says he can do $25 for the action he has. Fish are at 2 inches and 5 listed so I thought sweet. Until he explained each... Each? $25 a piece.

Am I missing something?

He probably wants people to bid on his auctions rather than selling at a fixed price. You can probably get them for 1/2 that bidding on the auction.

Not everywhere has pricing like CCA mini-auctions

Haven't seen those floating around the club, though.

Very nice fish. $25 is probably pretty close to retail for something like that (or a little less).

We get spoiled with CCA deals...

Agreed. My point was in general rather than this specific species.
